Our Keys to Preventing Disease with the Help of Pet Exams
Keeping pets well requires commitment on your part as well as ours. Seeing your pet for their annual or semiannual exam means we can:
Discuss how your pet is doing on a daily basis
Answer all your questions about their care and health
Check your pet’s weight, temperature, heart, and lungs
Perform a very thorough nose-to-tail exam to check for any unusual changes (lumps, bumps, rashes, hair loss, discoloration, etc.)
Do blood and fecal testing to screen for parasites and offer treatment as needed
Administer any needed vaccinations
Take the opportunity to refill your pet’s pest preventatives (and any other medications they might need)

Why Do Pets Need Annual Checkups?
We provide personalized care for pets of all ages, and one thing that should remain consistent throughout their life is their annual (or semiannual) wellness visits. Dogs and cats age about 5-6 years for every one of ours, and because they can’t tell us or show us what’s wrong, it’s up to your vet (and you) to find out if there’s a problem. Also, we can detect illnesses much sooner and focus on treating them before they can get worse.
Traveling Domestically with Your Pet?
They'll need a full checkup including vaccinations and parasite screening, along with a certificate to show they're healthy. We're able to provide domestic health certificates for any pets that need them. Be sure to contact us well in advance of your trip to set up an appointment to obtain your certificate.
